THE STORY
"After the Sun Goes Down" is an acrylic painting inspired by the soulful sounds of Eddie Chacon’s music and his persona, particularly his Sundown album. His melodies evoke the rich, warm hues of a California sunset, which I’ve captured on canvas, where the colours shift and fade as day transitions to night. This artwork celebrates both the music and the unique beauty of Eddie Chacon’s personality. Through my observations, I’ve infused the piece with a sense of calm, inviting viewers to experience the peaceful flow of time as the sun sets and the world softens. It’s a visual symphony of colour and emotion, echoing the serene power of the music that inspired it.
