THE STORY
“Apero” is my fresh take on an oyster still life—something I’ve long wished to explore in my collage work. Inspired by a lovely afternoon spent in a local restaurant, this piece captures the charm and elegance of that moment. Created as a mixed-media collage, Apero layers carefully selected papers and textures to evoke the subtle sheen, shape, and atmosphere of oysters enjoyed at leisure. It’s a celebration of simple pleasures, intimate settings, and the beauty found in everyday experiences.
