THE STORY
The vast, inspiring spaces of London’s Tate Modern have always captivated my imagination. "Modern" is my artistic response—a collage that reinterprets the museum’s monumental scale and intricate details from a fresh perspective. While unmistakably reflecting my artistic DNA, this piece ventures into new creative territories, exploring the interplay between structure and subtlety. The challenge lay in balancing the grandeur of the Tate Modern’s architecture with the delicate nuances of its features. By blending diverse textures of paper, paint, and ink, I created a layered composition that mirrors the complexity of the space itself. "Modern" earned recognition in the 2017 Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts, advancing through the first and second rounds—an encouraging milestone for my artistic journey. This experience further affirmed the resonance of my vision and motivates me to continue pushing boundaries in my work.
